This guitar started out as a 2020 Indonesia-made Squier Strat. The original neck was replaced with a period correct 21-fret neck (which required extensive fret work, tuner holes bored out and nut slots filed to proper depth), vintage Fender hardware and Fender headstock decals. All the elecronics were kept original. A custom engraved neck plate and serial number were added to complete this Buddy Holly tribute guitar.

This US-made Keith Urban acoustic needed a minor truss rod adjustment and the action lowered as part of a full setup. The quality finish and construction of this beauty was a pleasant surprise. The Colorful strings were also a nice touch!

Did a full setup on this jazz box. Also had to solder up some loose supports on the tailpiece that were vibrating and causing buzz. She plays like a dream now!

The saddles were up way too high on this Yamaha bass. Adjusted as part of a setup. It has some sweet low action now!

This Gretsch 6120 had a scratchy volume pot...and for some reason the bridge was on backwards. After a fresh setup, it's ready for rockabilly!

This Ovation-style 12-string came to the bench with some issues. It needed fret ends filed and a truss rod adjustment. The fret ends were filed, polished and buffed to make them silky smooth, and the bow was taken out of the neck, which lowered the action. When checking for fret buzz, a few high spots were discovered on some frets, so a partial fret dressing was recommended. Turned out, she needed a full fret dressing. New strings were added as well. She sounds bright and beautiful now, acoustic and amplified. No fret buzz and no dead spots!
